The Ninjas Come at Night

The Ninjas Come at Night is a 48 hour game jam game which leveraged an asset called the Top Down Engine by developer More Mountains.

The game is based one of the demo scenes that comes with the Top Down Engine. I took assets and mechanics that were pre-made (character movement, guns, shooting, enemies, tiles, keys/doors) and turned the scene into an endless wave-based shooter.

Finishing a wave nets the player a key to use on various resources in the shop.

WASD to move | Click to shoot | Shift to sprint | T to change weapons | I to open the inventory
